The Luminary Tour: Guest Post & Giveaway!

Today I have the pleasure to host The Luminary Tour (by Dark Mind Book Tours)!!
Welcome back to Darkest Sins, Elle!

(Elle J Rossi)
Elle J Rossi grew up in rural Indiana surrounded by great people, a huge family and more animals than she could count. But the sites and sounds of the world beckoned, so she left her small town to escape into a creative world full of music. As a full time singer she was able to lose herself in a thousand different songs in a hundred different places. After meeting the love of her life and settling down, she yearned to find a new and fulfilling creative outlet. Overly fond of the happily ever after, she wondered what it would be like to have her own characters lead her down dark and twisted paths. The very first word on the very first page sealed her fate. She'd found a new love. She'd found her escape. Now along with weaving haunting tales about the journey to love, she's creating cover art for authors around the world and loving every second of it. For fun, she cranks country music to take her back to her roots, and sings karaoke anytime she gets a chance. Her husband, two children, and a cat that rules the roost keep her company along the way and guarantee she doesn't get lost in the enchanted forest. She wouldn't have it any other way.

Here you can read the book summary: When Meera Brennan learns she’s a Luminary, one of the most powerful witches in existence, it rocks her already fragile world. The revelation explains the disturbing episodes that made her question her sanity, but does little to soothe the sting of discovering her life is now at risk. To save herself and keep peace within the veiled community, Meera will have to hone her powers and brave an ancient realm to destroy the slayer’s magickal source. She alone must dispel chaos and ensure the balance of good and evil for all mankind. Banished and stripped of his guardian powers because of a witch, Ghanem Adamo, former prince of the Saharren realm, receives a chance at redemption when his estranged father reveals an immortal battle destined to alter all realms. In order to protect the innocent, regain his title and reunite with his family, Ghanem must destroy the slayers’ source of power and bring down their terrorizing leader. Her life . . . Or his throne . . . When the war against the slayers force Meera and Ghanem to work together, more than magickal sparks fly. Challenged by fate, can love survive a nefarious battle that can result in only one prize?

All witches, dark or light, good or bad, have a place in this world. Without balance, the world would tip and many of us would fall off. Not me, of course. I have super stretchy powers and I’ll wrap my body around a giant redwood should this ever occur. I’m not going anywhere.

Over the years I’ve met a few witches and have compiled a list of their wishes and must haves. The comparison of the two lists is incredibly interesting and I often wonder which side I’m on. I really think it depends on the day!

  • Good/Light
  • Bad/Dark
  1. A companion to grow old with
  2. Angelica to heal
  3. A magical broom
  4. Fruity bubbling concoctions
  5. Evanescence
  6. A black cat
  7. A cloak and a skirt
  8. A garden
  9. A coven to laugh with
  10. Lots of kisses and foreplay
  1. Someone to fetch them things
  2. Ammonia to hex
  3. A magical axe
  4. double, straight up
  5. Nox Arcana
  6. A black panther
  7. A bustier and leather pants
  8. A dungeon
  9. Enemies to war with
  10. Um, just get to it

What kind of witch are you today? Anything you’d like to add to the lists?

  1. This is an awesome post!! Although I'm of good nature, I always see myself as a Dark Witch :)

    1. Hey, Franny! Thanks! What a long day at the day job! So glad to be home now and hanging at Silvia's house!!

I, too, see myself as a darkie. But I'm a fun loving one.

  2. I'm afraid I have the same problem, Elle. The more I read both lists, the more I wonder which side I’m on... Btw, I don't know if this makes me a Dark witch, but a black panther is what I always wanted! Yep, my fave animal EVER!!!!

    1. Really, Silvia? A black panther? Aren't they stunning? I LOVE them!

I often think if I had to pick an animal I would like to be, it would either be a wild mustang or a black panther!

  3. Replies
    1. Me too! My broom will have hot pink sparks to mark my path across the night sky!

  4. Hmm... I'm more good, but definitely had a few bad witch traits. I laughed out loud at "someone to fetch them things." Love it!

    1. Who doesn't want someone to fetch them things, Beth? That may be the thing I want most!

  5. I'm mostly a Good/Light witch, but I can show my dark side. LOL

Thanks for the giveaway. I look forward to reading the book. :)

    1. Hi, S.A! Thanks for stopping by. Hmm...that may make you a surprising witch!

  6. Replies
    1. I totally knew that about you, Berinn!

  7. I'd have to say that I am a good witch, although a panther and black leather pants are way cooler than a cat and a skirt. I hate skirts. :p haha Loved the post. :)

  8. Hey, Cameo! What if we get you a black leather skirt and a your cat is actually a shifter? Will that work?
