"The Mistress" by Tiffany Reisz

SERIES: The Original Sinners #4
PUBLISHER: Mills & Boon
GENRE: Contemporary Erotica
SOURCE: Publisher
LINKS: Goodreads | Book Depository

Nora Sutherlin, dominatrix-turned-literary-star, is held prisoner by two dangerous men. Under different circumstances she would enjoy this immensely. These men aren't lovers, however, but tools of vengeance from an old adversary. But her captor isn't interested in play. Or pity. In Nora's world, no one is ever truly powerless. Her friends and lovers will do anything to save her—even if the only certainty seems to be sacrifice and heartbreak.

Reading "The Mistress" is like playing chess...with the devil! Through unexpected revelations and exciting plot twists, love, lust, despair and the most overwhelming feelings fulfill the heart of the reader.

I couldn't rest for a second, I was jumping and, what do you know, praying with every bone in my body at every chapter. The whole plot has been built extraordinarily well and, thanks to the most bizarre but perfect team possibly put together, the author played the best chess game ever. I would have never expected to see characters I grew so fond of interact with others, let's say less 'familiar' (but equally powerful and involving) still, they did and the hows were priceless to experience... Good God, there's no one I didn't love in this series!

I was Nora, I was Søren, I was Kingsley and I was Wesley. I saw the whole story through their eyes and lived it with a passion that made me understand everything and everyone. I cried with and for them and, in the process, I fell for them all. I kneel in front of you, Tiffany Reisz and thank you for a series that is indeed a real contemporary erotica masterpiece and, without a doubt, a wondrous, unforgettable one!
