FairyLoot August Unboxing: Mutinous Pirates

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a FairyLoot box for me!

Lovers of book subscription boxes rejoice! After my February unboxing, here comes another shiny one to reveal. Although each box is always a pure pleasure to open, I won't hide that I was a bit over-excited for this one because its theme is one I'm particularly captivated by, and I believe lots of readers are with me on this. Well, they will be as soon as I say this month's theme was: MUTINOUS PIRATES.

Ahoy! This is your Captain, you have permission to come aboard and enjoy the unboxing journey . . .

'WHY IS THE RUM GONE?' WATER BOTTLE
by KDP Letters

If you are into Captain Jack Sparrow and Pirates of the Caribbean in general—how can you not?—then you'll find this item particularly great! I think it's spot on and I personally love it, but I do have a question . . . The bottle came empty, so I was wondering 'Why is the rum gone?' :P

PRINCE ELIAN CANDLE
by Nerd Poured Candles

Remember when I reviewed To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo and how thrilled I was? Remember, remember the 5th of November! Wait, I posted it on March 12th and it's about another kind of rebellion . . . Anyway, my point is this candle made my day and you should really consider travelling with Elian <3

PIRATE WAX SEAL
by FayryLoot

Once upon a time, I used to have a seal with my initial, but having one with the pirate-esque symbol on the gold wax seal is an entirely different thing. What a treat! Confess, in your hearts you are kinda hoping to receive an ole good letter from me now, don't you?

SWEET PEAT SUGAR SCRUB SOAP
by Geeky Clean

Pirates may not be renowned for their personal hygiene, but you are, aren't you? This scrub soap is inspired by a magical botanic plant in the book of the month but, despite the warning on the lid, it will not dissolve your inner or external organs. I think . . . Who wants to take a bath?

'IMPOSSIBLE' HANGING FLAG
by Reverie and Ink

Hey, I'm an Italian living in England, sometimes it's hard to have to pick just one flag to display around here. Improbable? Well, not anymore! ;) In case you are wondering, the quote on the hanging flag comes from Nikolai Lanstov in the Shadow and Bone trilogy.

PIRATE MAGNET
by Miss Phi

The quote you read on this lovely magnet is from Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller, a book I've been meaning to try for quite a while, but for some reason I still haven't put my hands on. Apparently there are ridiculous things one does when one is also not a pirate . . .

THESE REBEL WAVES
by Sara Raasch

I kid you not when I say my reaction to this was: "I know not who you are, nor how I came to find you, but may I just say . . . Hi. How ya doin'? The name's Flynn Rider Silvia." With a personal letter from the author, the botanical plant card, a captivating blurb, a terrific cover, and sprayed pages, this signed(!) book looks epic!

BONUS ITEM
EXCLUSIVE KING OF SCARS SAMPLER/POSTER

I don't know about you, but to me the little things are just monstrously appreciated . . . Thought you guys would like to see the exclusive poster, but know that the sampler behind it is just as good and intriguing!
